Swedish Open MCR Mahjong Championship 2025

Information

Date: 23-24 August 2025
Venue: Folkets hus, Magasinsgatan 17, 432 45 Varberg.

Registration: using the online form.

Include: name and country, EMA ID if you have one. Find your ID on the European rankings lists. If you don’t have one yet you will get one after the tournament.
Registration Fee: 350 SEK, including coffee/tea and snacks.

Cash payment on site will also be possible. Players who have not paid a few weeks before the tournament will be asked to confirm their participation in advance.

Lunches are not included. But we have made reservation at two different local Asian style all-you-can-eat that will be ready for us (price 100 SEK per person and day).

Saturday afternoon there will be a guided party train that will run through the town and along the coast. There will be a 2-hour stop for a two-course meal and dessert before returning by train back to the city (price train ride, food, beverage, coffee 600 SEK). Number of participants: max 60 players.(30 registered players from 4 countries). In case the maximum number of registrations is reached we will keep a waiting list.
